MY DOG SADIE HAS BAD ALLERGIES EVERY YEAR AT THIS TIME. SHE HAS TO TAKE MEDICINE AND EYE DROPS. HER EYES GET ALL RED AND THEY HURT. POOR BABY! CB, CLARITIN IS FOR ALLERGIES TO, BUT IT DOESN'T WORK GOOD FOR ALLERGIES EITHER.

If the dog isn't home for my mom when she gets home from work there's hell to pay because she wants to take the dog straight out. Which is good since obviously the dog stays in Finland while i am where ever I roam lol. I'll fly to Finland through Stockholm Sweden next Wednesday.

The annoying thing was my last 2 flights with this new airway that was really cheap. They only have 1 pilot that goes back and forth London and Helsinki. The flights were so terrible that I was scared all through and I'm hoping the normal flights that I have always flew on won't make me scared after that ordeal. I can't afford to get a flight fobia now LOL! I still got 6 years that I have to fly back and forth! Stupid to be scared, not one Finnish plane has ever crashed. But still, that new airway company just got me panicking. Stupid cheap flight. I happily now pay 4 times more just to get my normal flights lol [img]rolleyes.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/chat.gif[/img]

You have boxers, right? The vet said that eye allergies are common in bulldogs. Gator had alot of problems with allergies and we had to put drops in his eyes too, but so far, we have been lucky with all of the rest. They have never had any problems so far.
I know Claritin is for allergies which is why I was kinda puzzled when she gave it to me for my chicken pox itching lol. She gave me a bunch of free samples so it's not like I had to pay for it or anything. But the kids take Claritin for their allergies and it works fine. John took one the other night when his allergies were acting up and it worked good for him too. Some meds work for some people and not for others. Like some people do well on Prozac for depression and for some people, it makes them worse.

That's weird. Gator was the only one and he was the only white one too! Wonder if that has anything to do with it. Two of mine have white markings on them in some spots but Gator was the only totally white one.

I just asked John and he said white bulldogs are more likely to have eye irriation, go blind, or go crazy. My gdpa had a white bulldog that was crazy but I think alot of his craziness had to do with him being born deaf. This dog was a nut! He would pounce on ants! My gdpa kept him in a huge pen with boats in it. He kept him in there at his shop in case someone tried to get in there and steal a boat or motor. When they would put boats in there or take them out, they would have to hang a water hose over the pen and let the water run because the crazy dog would stand there and attack the water that was running out instead of attacking them lol. One day my gdpa didn't hang the water hose over the pen and went in there. The dog tried to attack him! He jumped in a boat and grabbed a fishing net and hit the dog over the head with the handle. The handle bent and the dog was still wanting to attack lol. The guy that worked for him distracted stupid dog with the water hose long enough for my gdpa to get out. That dog was NUTS!

Gator wasn't either. He was a big ol baby. People were scared of him because he looked mean because of his under bite but he wasn't mean at all. He may would lick you to death lol. The only times he was ever aggressive was if someone he didn't know tried to get around the kids. He was very protective of them.
